The State of Qatar looks like a thum jutting out from the Arabian Peninsula and covers almost an area of 11,437 square kilometers with over 700 kilometers of costlines. The ruling family are Al Thani. Al Thani are the decendents of the tibe called Maadheed whom are a main branch of ak wahabi of Bani Handhala of Tamim - the largest tribe in Arabia.
